Exordium One of my favorite memories as a young boy was learning a number of Christmas hymns in Norwegian. Not because I particularly loved Norwegian, but because of its purpose. We had an older woman in our congregation who had immigrated from Norway and married a farmer. She was now a widow and home bound member. Ingrid Helgeson had a wonderful Norwegian brogue.
