
Pastor Abraham Faugstad was born in northern Minnesota, the youngest of seven children to a Lutheran Pastor. He was raised in a rural town in southwestern Minnesota. After graduating from high school he attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics in May 2017. After college, he enrolled at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in Mankato, Minnesota and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in May 2022.
While attending college Pastor Faugstad met his wife, Elise Widmer. Elise was one of the first girls he met at Bethany. They have now been happily married since 2018 and have three children, Hilde, Bjug, Daniel, and Martha.
Besides preaching and teaching, Pastor Faugstad enjoys physical exercise, reading, playing guitar and piano, gardening, and spending time with family.
Pastor Faugstad was ordained and installed as pastor at King of Grace and Trinity on July 3rd, 2022. He enjoys serving our community and sharing the message of hope and peace we have in Jesus Christ, who gave His own life, so that we might have a certain hope of heaven.
