Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church in Calmar, Iowa. Thank you for visiting! Trinity was formally organized on October 9, 1944. It stems from the Calmar Lutheran Congregation which was organized by Pastor U. V. Koren in December 1853. In October 1944, Pastor H.A. Preus and twenty-five families organized Trinity Lutheran Church of Calmar, Iowa on October 9, 1944. Trinity Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
